superb greenline

Featured Replies

Well we've had the car almost 2 weeks this saturday and to be honest it is a lovely car to drive...but i did notice the other day on the motorway poodling at 70mph in 5th gear with cruise on and i noticed the display showing an arrow pointing downwards ....basically informing me to change into 3rd gear !! I thought blow that or words to that effect, knowing if i did i would over rev the car and do damage. So i switched off the cruise and got into the slow lane and ended up in 4th gear with the display saying get into 2nd !!...so i am assuming it was a technical glitch as there is nothing wrong with the gear changing.

I reached my destination, switched off and half hr later i was back on motoraway again, and for some reason the display was working correctly !!.....tho having said that.......today the display is playing up again...should i go back to the dealer?? i really cant be done with having yet another superb off the road at this time...and i havent told the wife as she is still seething over the dead engine on our old superb.....any idea's out there??

What happened to your old one ?????????????

Its dead on the driveway at the moment...oil pump issue and i am in the process of trying to get it sorted with the experts from skoda. My wife had to use her dla benefit in order to get transport...hence the greenline...but meanwhile, we are determined to get the other superb back to where it should be.....on the road !!

Hi,

Are you sure the “oil pump†was wrong?

As on my GreenLine the gear change down it is DPF regeneration process.

Lets say DPF is need for regeneration so the CPU looks for the revs if the rev lower then 1800 rpm you need to change the gear to lower to keep at least 2000 rpm

But as you told from 5th gear to 3rd gear looks not right must be to 4th gear if DPF regeneration starts.
