New Wheels - FAO Brimma!

Featured Replies

Problem is Audi bits bolted on to a Skoda make it look like you really wanted the Audi but had to make do with the Skoda

I never for one minute thought my car was an Audi or wished I had one...lol (any of them)

All had Audi wheels though.

...with Skoda centre caps, which to the untrained eye make the alloys look like OEM Skoda and therefore very nice!

Audi logo's on a Skoda just don't look right in my eyes.

16" TT wheels on the other halfs Fabia are still wearing the Audi badges.

Its a VAG thing, its allowed.

Like the wheels on those Fabias. But my opinions s***e so just ignore me.

Someone say something?

They're all VAG wheels so I don't see a problem! If they suit the car that all that matters. B)

This is just daft - never realised people were so bothered about a bit of brand sharing! :D

Oh, and for the record I've seen A3s running Spiders from a Mk1 Octavia - if that makes anyone feel any better :dull:

And Seats using Skoda alloys, and VWs using Skoda alloys..... :smirk:

Blimey, I didn't realise this post would cause so much attention.

I love split rims, Audi do split rims that fit perfectly without any problems so it works well. As for the centre caps, I was going to look into getting something made up, but not really that fussed.

All vag cars swap wheels and parts. How many people have put an LCR splitter on their fabias but people don't criticise that.

My car before this was an Audi but Skoda has more character so I'm not pretending to be anything.

Audi badged wheels on Skodas are so lame lol

so will the next mod be an outrageous coloured grille or grilles? ;)

On yer bike, Lofty :p

Especially when they lower the car so the arch liners rub. Nearly as bad as diesels with big brake conversions :p

Nice wheelsemoticon-0148-yes.gif Look loads better than the LE wheels which to me look a little bit aftermarket. BUT, 18" multispokes on an Octy 2 always look a little on the small side to me, just my opinion.

Wow - magic wheels that lower the car - if I'd have known about them I wouldn't have bought the coilovers :giggle:

have to say the posts here have made me laugh.

Does it matter if there is an audi badge! Most of the parts under the bonnet etc have audi stamps......................quick get them off! :dull:

I think they look great, I liked them on brimma's when he first put a set on and I like them on this one too.
