She is in for 3 days!!!!!!!!

Featured Replies

Just dropped the car off at WhiteQuay,Reading. They are replacing the front anti-roll bar bushes and investigating the cars' flickering lights !!!

Pick it up Friday, will report back!!!

3 days? I had my ARB replaced complete in an hour. :D

Do the lights really flicker, as in on/off/on/off, or is it a dimming for example when switches are pushed, or steering turned whilst stationary?

If the flickering lights happens when manoeuvering at low speeds, they all do that. It's the electric power steering drawing current from the lighting circuit.

Any idea why it should be in for that length of time then?

3 days - they probably wanted to drive around in it on New Years Eve, cheaper than using taxis. :D

Hmm. mac, where are you in Reading? I got my (ex)furby from Whitequay. Kenny was rather helpful :)

Never had it serviced there and did find it a little strange to say they were going to use the Saab dealer's techies for maintenance and servicing because they have 20 years experience. Also, they were going to build a brand new servicing area at the Skoda place (opposite Rivermead) but then learnt via a letter in the post that all servicing was done at the Saab dealer on Portman road
