Not for your fuel - for your oil this time. Who uses them in their TDI's, and which one? Am I right in thinking they are not recommended for the vRS or is it just for variable servicing they are frowned upon?

i got given some Roil for christmas...(hmm not the 'best' present i've ever recieved....) still not entirely sure whether i want it in my car.

any opinions?

I don't think they're recommended in general these days - modern engines don't need them, and neither does modern oil...otherwise a major manufacturer of either engines or cars would have released a similar product!

In the meantime, don't bother with oil additives, they're a waste of money.
