Ordered our Estate 170HP diesel 4x4 a while ago (with sunroof so long wait!) ... I got to choose the equipment whilst the missis picked the colour; Amazonian green! Haven't really seen any pictures of the green estate (not even a google-picture search reveals anything) so I'm wondering; does anyone have a snapshot of it in that particular colour?

The one from skoda's homepage (car-builder) is approx 180 pixels wide and doesn't amount to much ...

We got the alcantara (spelling?) black because of our quite high laziness-levels (can't really be bothered to clean the inside of the car nearly as often as we should) ...

thnp- Ordered mine in that very colour, I thought it would set off the Ivory interior nicely... A few weeks' more to wait, I'll try to post a pic when she arrives! There's another thread hereabouts where I asked the same question, it lists all owners' spec and colour (Amazonian Green was absent!) but I cannot remember the thread...

That green isn't a very nice colour, I saw the launch car in it and it had very limited appeal, at first it shouts at you, then it goes dull, and then you imagine it dirty and it's cgame over, one of the cheap tacky looking colours that the last Vectra was launched in, a horrible amber/gold metallic, puke.

To give ppl an idea, it's like the colour of a Lemsip box only a bit darker.

Amazonian Green is a very deep colour and suits the large sized car. A friend of mine has a SUPERB Saloon in this colour, and it looks well.

Colour is a very subjective issue and I wouldn't dare tell anyone their choice was wrong.

It looks nothing like that in the flesh bud, it's a sort of gimick colour in a way, the sort of colour that doesn't grab you unless you are one who likes to get noticed, and you got the wrong lemsip box, it's the max strength one you need to look at. :yes:

There you go, but I can assure you it looks nothing like that in the flesh, it's lighter & shinier, I did have some pictures of a pre launch car I saw at my local dealer, but sadly I couldn't find them so I must've deleted them, anyway, if it's the one you've chosen "wth" does it matter anyway, as long as you're happy with it, let me know what you're final thoughts are once you take delivery and get a proper look at it, say if it's floating your boat, or if it's nice but not as expected, or even, ugh I hate it and I realise now I shouldn't go by print examples, personally if I was ordering it would be either Red Met, Dark Blue Met or Black, Red being the favorite because it really looks the nutz.
