Yes did them myself after work, took 30mins. Its the "SubtleGrey" from Lamin-x, very easy and good mod. I also done the fogs but not LEDs yet.

What size did you order for the front lights?

Road legal?

Road legal?

Does not alter the colour or brightness so yes fine.

Definately subtle, but it makes a big difference, I like.

Can you post a few more details, product details, where to buy from, price etc?

Just worked out what I need to do mine, just under 45 quid................I think they can stay clear! :giggle:

Some like to add a yellow tint to the fogs only or blue tint to LED DRLs, but the one I went for is only slight but blends the lights into the blue paint work a little. It also adds good protection (I have venture shield as well!) and canbe removed easily.

I reckon yellow fogs and gunsmoke for the headlights with your paintwork.

me likey

Quite like that. But can I see a whole photo of the front, before I vote? :)

Cheers,

Steve

tinted headlights.

Ahh. Apologies. I did have to spend the morning in Specsavers.

Like the close ups but we need to see a Bette Midler shot.. B)

how much did u buy to cover the 2 then. Would measure the lights myself but not by the car and cant measure. How difficult to fit?

Sorry to ressurect this thread but I thought members may be interested in the following:

Lamin-X are currently offering free 2nd class delivery on orders over £15 and if you enter 'xmas2010' in the discount code box you get 12% off.

I will now be investing in the subtle tint headlight film. ;)

Cheers, Lee.

Sorry, not for me.

I'm struggling to see why anyone would want to do anything that potentially reduces the light output? Seems counter intuitive to me..

I have applied 'Smoke tint' to my retro fit DRL's, when off you can hardly see them, but when they are on the light output is doesn't look any different. I will be ordering the subtle tint for the headlights though, if you check out the Ford Focus 2nd row, 3rd along I think it looks aces' with the darker headlight and the light output with this colour is definately the same.

I'm surprised you don't like Rob, I think they would compilment your wheels/mirror covers perfectly.

Might order some subtle tint for the fogs then. How much do you reckon I'll need for those?

I would say a 12" x 12" sheet would be plenty, but you will have to pay the postage as it's only £12.99 and that's before the 12% discount. If you went for the 12" x 16" @ £15.99 you will save the 3 quid postage so if my maths are right, you will get that sheet for the same price as the 12 x 12. (approximately)
