Hi all!

You may remenber me for last week with my consule bush problem!

We that problem is fix turns out the lower arms were lose!

Now after 150 miles ish later there is a new noise its like a clonking? knocking noise when either turning or somtimes it will accour when accelerating!

Any ideas! I am starting to think I should just drive this car in to a cannal if this is the start of things to come!

Have you checked that all your exhaust rubbers are on properly? And that the exhaust system isn't knocking against anything?

I havent but it dosent sound like that sort of knocking! sounds like somthing from the front drive chain system Drop links drive shaft and bush area!

check drop links and anti roll bar bushes. the other thing to check is the top mount. Not sure what this is but I've seen it mentioned on a lot of the knocking and clunking threads.

Top mount is the bit on top of the front strut, lift the bonnet and i think it's two nuts holding on the strut either side, make sure they are tight, also the nut in the middle, make sure that is tight...

I have a knocking noise just now and it's the strut thats away, serious knocking noise coming from it!!
