Hi folks,

Picked my new car up yesterday. Said goodbye to my lovely Race Blue 2008 vRS Octavia and hello to my new one.

I love this striking new colour and all the new features the FL has. Will still miss my old car though. I was very fond of it.

Never had xenons before. I can't believe how good they are. Love them. :thumbup:

Anyway here are a few snaps of todays little drive. Now on 80 miles.. :rofl::thumbup:

Looks great mate - but I would say that as it's the same as what i am getting! Looks like it sits a bit lower than other facelift ones I've seen :)

LOL. My pregnant wife was actually sat in it. Honestly. I just told her to duck down when I took the snaps. :rofl: :rofl:

I think a set of Weitec GT Coilovers would be a cheaper option :rofl:

did it stay that clean throughout, it dosent look dirty at all considering the wet weather. My blue VRS looks stinking at the end of each day at the moment!

No its minging now. The whole bodywork is covered in dirty rain and road splatter.

I'm a bit fanatical about a clean car. It won't be mucky for long.

I must say if I was buying new and didn't have to think about all the practical things like fuel economy and room for an expanding family, a white petrol vrs with smoked wheels would be top of my list.

They are are a lot of car for the money.

Very nice but not sure I could manage with the colour..We just traded in my wife's white Fabia for a green and black one..

The white one was a sod to keep clean

Judging by what I've seen on here lately, there's going to be a lot of white ones up for grabs in about three years time...mind you, there's a load of race blue pre-fl ones about now !

There'll be a white CR up for graps at Silbury Skoda near Newcastle in March when my new one arrives :) One careful owner ;)

On 180 miles now. Half a tank of juice drank. Got a feeling this one is gonna be far less thirsty than my preFL vRS. Still smiling like a Cheshire cat! :)

You could take it to the right side of the pennines for our meet on Tuesday though Edd. It would be in good company lol.
