Have to agree!! Had read posts on Fabia 2 forum some time ago drawing attention to the feeble horn but had forgot about them until I was 'obliged' to use the horn on my wife's car the other day - got lots of 'was that YOUR car' looks from people!! Quite embarrassing really.

Even when my Mk1 vRS 'lost' one of its' twin horns it wasn't quite SO pathetic.

Might have to think about a replacement or drive in such a way that I don't have to use the horn...............possible??

My VRS which I picked up today has...........I'm pleased to say..........a proper horn!

I have one of those old horns that sound like ....... ARROOOGAAAHH! does anyone know if they are legal to fit, cos if the horn is that bad I might just fit this.

I thought I would get a horn from an Octavia and replace the existing horn. The Octavia horn does fit but the electrical connections are different. You need to cut the wires and fit spade connectors. A single Octavia horn sounds very much like the old Fabia Horn. I can only think the problem is due to the horn being mounted in a fairly confined space. I would not bother with this its not too easy as you need to do the work through the hole made where you remove the nearside black grill.

In the brochure the Fabia vRS is advertised with a "Two-Tone Horn" as a feature? Maybe it's a fairly new addition :wonder:

The fabia sound quite manly compaired to the Toyota Igo... or pug 107 i think it is...

one of my girlie friends carrys a gas horn in her handbag to blast at people when she's in her micra, it's quite funny really.

i sooooo want some train horns in my car now!!!
