apparently a common fault but my windows are doing a number on me, the rear passenger footwell is slightly damp, how you you reseal the doors? and what do i use?

i see they advice to buy the silicone kit, couldnt i just use regular silicone from b&q? surely its the same stuff but obviously skoda will just want the sale of there "kit"

same thing needs doing to mine if u push down really hard on your carpets you should feel the water under the carpet

as for the sealant i believe you can use any type of sealant, im going to opt for tiger seal and see the rusults if that doesnt work then ill result to buying the one recommended by skoda

Any chance of showing me the ropes after you've done yours ;) ?

I'm fed up coming back to the car only to find it looking like someone's having a sauna inside.

Today was a nightmare getting the frost off the inside of the windscreen - made a lot worse by the fact that I've had the upholstery professionally valeted and the seats were soaking, which upped the moisture content x10.

I tried just the cheap silicon but it did not work, so got some "horrible black sticky stuff" (sorry cannot remember what it was called) but it has done the job

but stays supple (I think they call it)

I paid about £6 a tube for it
