Hey all,

I'm after a twin tailpipe design rather than the single tailpipe and wanted to know what systems are available. The only one I can find is the Piper Exhaust which comes with a Twin 3" round inwardly rolled. I don't have any experience of Piper Exhausts so wondered if anyone has the system who can comment and has any pictures or whether anyone can recommend a different system i.e. Milltek, blueflame etc..

Hi mate, i posted a vid of my piper exhaust. i think they sound really good. really deep and burbly, i would say that its probably the loudest of the exhaust systems out there.

This is a single 3.5inch turbo back system

the miltek 2.75" system comes with twin tail pipes. i run a miltek non resonated system with single oval tailpipe and the fitment, sound and build quality are fantastic

Oh and don't buy a Blueflame exhaust, as they have gone bust and will just steal your money and not send you the exhaust........

Personally I'd go for the Piper system. The Milltek 2.75" looks nice, but will probably reduce power on a standard car. Other than that you could go custom, and get exactly what you want for more money.

haha brilliant bodge. couldn't agree more and trust me on this i have personal experience with blueflame - stay well clear.

Do Miltec exhausts still grow when they get hot like they used to?

I had one on my A3 1.8T years ago and after a run it was probably over an inch longer than when cold. Made it very difficult to adjust and stop it hitting the rear beam.

My old 2.75" milltek system was a pain in the arse!! Had to go directly to milltek to have the rear box replaced 3 times after the casing broke up..... In the end I Fu**ed it off and had a custom 3" system made up......

Mine used to grow nearly 2" when hot!! The tails would stick out miles after a good beating!!!

I think I've just been unlucky with my milltek experience!!

Mine grows when hot but never had an issue with it catching or hitting anything.
