Depends on how old the Octy is + miles.. and how much you lost on the Furby?

silver octy 54 plate ex demo,1300 miles

one question, what was the main reason for the change, need a bigger car or just fancied a change?

i see myself going the other way, well to Diesel anyway, even though i do love the Fabia vRS.

and what with increased running costs and no massive wave of torque to ride????

You know you have done the right thing. Now you will own a real vRS (ducks for cover) .

felt like a change but most of all needed more room we have trouble getting pram in the boot, bloody kids.

Pram will fit in the Octy, but kids and the seat decor in the Octy vRS are a bad combinations. Does not take to many MacDonalds drive throughs or chocolate bars.....................

cant be worse than furby at least the leather can be wiped

Not the leather bits I was thinking of. Then there is the carpet..............Hard to describe what colour my carpet is now after a year or so of ownership :).

Congrats! your now in the big boys club!

Doh..

Could have had a swap with mine... No cash either way...

I'm looking to get a Fab vRS...

Have to say after having a look at a few octi VRS at trax. They are very nice indeed if it wasn't the running costs, I'd be tempted to get one myself. Have to say come time to change I do think it will be an octi or at least a skoda. I just cant knock them in anyway!

I was thinking there would be a bum covering the middle bit,but your right about that carpet mate (didnt think of that).

Get some sort of protection on the carpet (Teflon etc) and it will come up clean without too many problems. Get some cheap seat covers from Halfords and your 2 biggest possible issues are sorted :)

If you don't mind the difference in fuel economy i'm sure you'll love the car.

I've just booked a test drive in a Furby vRS tomorrow. I just want to see what they're like as everyone on here who owns one loves em.

I can't imagine it'll be any good for me and Mrs Dave though as we need space for Mrs Dave's wheelchair int back, and with the Octy we can fill the rest of the boot up with a weekly shop as well. I'll tell you how it went tomorrow..... :)

cleaned my carpet today in the vrs, good set of mats are a god send, only minimal crud that needed to be cleaned off,but as above get some teflon cleaner/protector,works a treat.my kids are 6 yrs old and 9mths old, neither eats or drinks in the car(unless its an emergency)
