Look what a dog did

Featured Replies

I have cleaned up this thread.

Please, no more sick jokes about dead dogs. This is the only warning.

thanks, was pretty uncomfortable with some of the chat earlier

I find it interesting that so many of you are so offended by this poor dogs death, do any of you eat meat?

Have you ever seen chickens bleeding to death because the neck was not cut cleanly whilst upside down on a conveyor system....

I do find it interesting that people think differently of what may have been a domesticated animal than a farm animal, they all have feelings.

I was not offended by the dogs death, accidents do happen. The objections voiced by Mikeholroyd and myself were in reference to very sick comments regarding what to do with the dog post accident, thankfully these comments have been removed by Gadgetman so you have not had to read them.

Come on Briskodians

The problem her is that I have to pay for repairs for something that I could not avoid, was either that or change lane and have a head on colision with another car. You choose???

Whether an animal or something that had fell off a truck , their´s a human at fault and now I have to live with the consequences.

This post was just to show how much damage can something small do to our cars when hit head on.

I for one have no problems with you, your post, or given the circumstances you have outlined, your actions. I can also feel for you, and that you will have the expense of correcting something over which you had no control. The fact that it was a dog which was struck as very little bearing, it could just have easily been a deer/ fox/ rabbit.

My (and other Briskodians problem) was the subsequent comments that where made in response, In these instances I believe that the fact that it was a dog does make some difference by virtue of the fact a dog is a domestic animal rather than wildlife or commercial livestock. (I appreciate that some countries have sectors of their population that fail to make this differentiation where some breeds of dog are concerned.)

vRS, apology accepted

Unlucky and I do feel sorry for you and also the poor dog. Not the dogs fault as it really doesn't understand the finer points of road safety (either do most kids now days). Its shocking how something fairly small can cause so much damage.

Hope you get it all sorted soon and doesn't cost too much!
