Hi am geting a skoda octavia vrs tdi 170bhp soon , am wanting a really good remap and the dpf removed along with a good straight thru pipe only thing is am not sure of any good places around the north east my dad got a remap on his vito and was really impressed this was the company http://www.masperformance.co.uk/ just wondering has anyone used them or anyone else for the remap and dpf removal with pipe ? and did it transform the car what bhp are you looking at after it thanks alot people

I've never heard of Mas Performance, so can't help you.

As you are in the Newcastle area, I would suggest MB Mortorsport who are based in Hebern. I don't know if they do DPF removal, but they sell Jabba Remaps. Jabba are a well respected tuner and site sponsor on here.

Always worth the travel to Mansfield for a Shark Performance Remap. Ben's maps are awesome and couldn't reccommend him enough after sorting me out with his stage 1 map on my octavia vrs 1.8t, but hear great stuff about his diesel tuning too.

I was going to suggest MB in Heburn too. Don't have any experience of them directly, but remember someone on here used them a while back and was very happy. That said, Mansfield is only 3hrs away and the guy at Shark is using his own maps.

my step dad was really impressed with his remap from mas perfromance , he told me about £550 for a remap and the dpf removed and a straight thru pipe in dont no anyones elses prices but i think thats a good price

DPF removal involves far more than just a remap, as far as I am aware only 3 tuners have the necessary to map out the DPF to avoid regular limp mode problems.
