Interior illumination niggles

Featured Replies

Everything lights up as expected, however the heater controls and passenger window switch are noticeably dimmer than all of the other controls.

If I use the dimmer all the controls dim and illuminate as expected with the passenger window and heater control dimmer throughout the range.

Nothing is flickering, it's just annoying that the interior isn't illuminated evenly. It's probably by design, has anyone else also noticed this phenomenon? Or is it just me?

Both of ours have slightly dimmer centre console illumination. Always put it down to being a design flaw.

Cheers

Dave.

Yeah, heater controls are dimmer on all three sets we've had between our two Fabias. The window switch can be swapped-out if it's bothering you...

One more niggle that I've noticed now that the dark evenings are here is that the radio controls don't seem to be illuminated when the car side lights are off and the radio is turned on. I've never had this on any car before and it basically means that if I am sat there waiting for the misses with the engine off, I either need to keep the side lights on or turn the interior light on to see the controls, which is daft!

Is there an option in the radio to illuminate the controls when it's turned on, without having to have the sidelights on?
