Played a few games last night on my server. Was late on, but lag free.

Will leave ranked for the kids. Far too limited on the config front. Too much like softcore on MW2, which is a waste of time. On a plus note the RCON console inbuilt into the game is great. Far better than expected. With the unranked server there are lots of variables to tweak.

I've spent a few hours on the PS3 version today and so far it's very good.

I've done just over a third of the single player campaign so far and that's all top notch stuff. The graphics and gameplay are great and the storyline makes a nice change from yet another WWII yarn.

I've only played the traditional multiplayer so far, and haven't yet ventured into the newer features. All the maps I've been on have played well with no obvious bad points though I'm not sure about the lobby and the customisation - there just seem to be too many options to remember and pick.

Server config is "fluid" atm until steam settles down. I am just leaving it on the mixed gametype for now. They keep changing the admin console as well as it being flaky at best just now.

Not sure of this works on the PS3, but on the Xbox you can rapidly press both triggers at the start menu to break out of your chair. You can then walk around to a console on the wall and type DOA for an arcade twin-stick shooter, or ZORK for the full Infocom adventure game

Easily pleased then if your playing on a PS3

New global settings passed out last night to help make gameplay a bit smoother for the real ( pc ) players.

They had set the sv_maxrate to 5000 ( a console setting ) , when 25000 is normal for the pc. I had already set it myself on our server, but didn't get a chance to do this until late last night. Made a huge difference for us. A lot smoother now.

Anyone played this in 3D yet?

Was playing it last night on a Sony kdl-60lx903, the only thing i found is that sometimes i felt asif i wanted to look over the gun which was strange.

Yeah i play it in 3D with my 360 its a pretty decent experience. Takes a while to get used to it though
