I hate it when my dad asks to go out in mine because he always calls it stupid names, the most annoying being 'fabia express' :thumbdwn: It is bloody fast though compared to his isuzu 4x4.

A Czech woman told me that 'skoda' means 'damage' or 'shame' - equivalent to the German 'schade'. So I suppose the German expression 'schadenfreude' (joy in someone's misfortune) could really mean joy in having a Skoda.

IIRC Fabian is the masculine version of Fabia (really not trying to imply anything about the Fabia by that though ) - it must be pretty easy to write a baby name book though, all you need to do is think up 6 names and then swap the letters at the end of them...
