The freebie Find My iPhone is only available to iPhone 4 users and the latest gen iPod touch. Early adopters need NOT apply emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

There are a few iPhone tweaks like being able to assign a contact specific text alert and better ringer volume control.

Some new ringtones would have been nice though emoticon-0149-no.gif

This is being debated online. Apparently you only need latest gen hardware to sign up to the free service, which you can then use on earlier hardware/os... Apparently...

I have a first gen iPod touch (latest iOS: 3.13 :giggle:) and a 3GS so I'm guessing I'm out.

Apple will no doubt kibosh any loopholes very quickly.
