Hi,

A few weeks ago I noticed that when trying to use the rear washer on my Wifes Roomster you can here the pump spinning but no water comes out. The front washers work fine? This was before the deep freeze set in.

Any ideas what it could be or where I should check if simple (I am not very mechanicaly minded) other wise I think it will be a trip to the garage.

Might just be clogged - get a needle and gently push it into the nozzle hole (not too far mind).

If there's a blockage, that should clear it.

I'd suggest the pipes have popped apart rather than a blockage TBH. Assuming the Roomster is at least similar to the Mk1 Fabia:

Make sure your washer fluid mix is nice and strong...

As ap0gee has said, and I totally agree.

It is a common trait with Skoda models, one frosty cold spell and the washer pipe connections pop-apart, particularly the rear one.

I had a very similar sounding problem to yours. Took it to a dealer who told me that a pipe had burst so I wouldn't be surprised if this is what has happened to yours. It's nice to have a clean rear screen again!

Thanks for the warning I think I'll have a look at my tubing to see if it's feasible to add some insulation. I'm not experiencing any problems at the moment, but there again it hasn't been as cold as last winter yet.
