How's 220bhp feel compared to 180bhp?

Featured Replies

Iv fitted a updated clutch (£650ish new I think) to my DMF, no issues.

Yeah, I can get just the uprated clutch kit for that .... then I was quoted £250 + VAT + consumables for fitting. And I would want a new DMF at the same time (which I never did get a price for, but I assume around £100).

£650 + ~£300 + £100 = far too much.

Not so bad if you are able to fit it yourself I suppose, but I can't.

Uprating the front brakes to 312mm really makes a difference. Have a look on Ebay, plenty of kits come up, you don't need to spend more than £100 plus fitting.

They look the part too!

I actually done it £300 for used updated clutch + £100 fitting at unit 18. My DMF has done 100,000 miles plus, but it's been looked after, and in good condition. No point replacing things for no reason IMO.

Everyone does things differently, my mate also has a vRS, and has put the best of everything on. Where as I tried to keep in mind the value of the car to start with. It's not a Super car, so iv saved money on bit that I didn't feel were needed, and spent on what I felt was.

you can pick up a helix and smf from mardigras motorsport for £880 all in....

or if your me £790

:D

LSD aint needed just a decent map and a knowledge of how to drive LOL

220bhp compared to 180bhp wont exactly excite you and make you think its a ferrari...

but it will pull harder and longer and wont run out of puff like a mapped vrs (+80mph)
