How much is this number plate worth?

Featured Replies

Hi there, & first of all I'd just like to state this is not!!!!!!!! a for sale thread I've just no idea how much to price this number plate at, anyone any idea's how much I should put it up for? as it's a amazing reading plate, but It can only go on a 11 plate car so not quite as desirable as a plate that can go on any car?

Cheers.

I think most of the reg transfer places will give you a valuation.

However, whether anybody would pay for that is another issue....

I read it as World War Two KED. Perhaps some war veteran or militaria collector would want it? Quite what the KED could mean I don't know other than this :

No help at all, but shows that different people read things in different ways.

One of my mates Daz is married to Vikki. Their reg plate on their BMW M3 read DNV plus a couple of numbers. They think it's cute becauseof Daz 'N' Vikki, my wife who is a nurse read it as Diarrhea 'N' Vomiting. Never assume etc...

+1 I read it as this too :S

Can't see it being worth more than £200-300 personally.

As already posted most of the cherished plate sites will give you a valuation.

Whatever some prat wants to pay for it! :giggle:

mmmmmmmm....................Shall I reply

50 BER is an epic plate as is D13UNK.

5IR is awesome too!!

I've never liked personal plates, thinking they are a bit naff to be honest. Mind you, I'm a simple man with simple tastes. Beer, ladies, cars in any order really. If an addition to a car makes it go quicker or improves the look, count me in. If the modification is of no use at all, then I see it as pointless and not worth it.

Also, hardly any of them say what the owner wants them to say, it takes a huge leap of faith - and quite a bit of imagination - to figure out what they mean. I'd rather spend the money on something else.

lol, i pretty much agree with all of that, especially about the ones that you have to try and work out what they mean, or a suppose to say, like code cracking. That said, i do have a "vrs" plate on mine
