Featured Replies

I found this pic of furby VRS going for top, looks abit to good to be true, but i don't know see, for yourself!

Hmm...118mph?

Rob.

Its got a petrol Rev counter?

I reckon thats maybe a 1.4 16v giving it some beans.

it's not vRS, it's a petrol. Look at the redline and v-max...

 With your car you'd have to. :D Although even at 115mph it'd be damn stupid to try and take a photograph!

Look at the pic chaps, it's KMPH not MPH! Nice thought though, must admit i would have to agree that at those kind of speeds you would literally be hanging on, Woooooooooah :drivesaf:

See post 2... :D

Rob.

It's not the 1.4 16v either. That redlined at 6,200. ;)

Also looks very VWish with the blue lights.

My Clio 1.2 16v has seen 125mph on the clock. Probably means about 105 in real life.

Unfortunatley the poor guy who I entrusted to take a pic, got scared with me doing those speeds round a sharp bend! He literally held on to the dash!

I'll see what can be had from the Fabia on friday for you! may even take the pic myself.

many many years ago I had an Astra GTE with the digital dash. At the flick of a switch you could change the readout to kmh. I'll never forget the look on my mates face, who was somewhat naieve when I secretly flicked it over to kmh and gave it some welly. For weeks afterwards he went round telling everyone he knew that he'd done 200mph in an Astra. Oh how we laughed. He's been sectioned now like!!

I work with in vehicle video surviellance and have a box of tricks that will record a front camera (actually upto four and have thought about fitting in the wheel wells to capture the spring movement) and give the speed (calculated by GPS), indicators and brake usage. I get my furby vRS next week and will try to get the box wired in, once I`ve got the footage I will post for all to see

Bit like the time I came down the Rhinos Pass in the Lakes, and frantically pumped the clutch pedal telling Mrs C.J.the brakes had failed!

Oh her face was a picture!

Are u sure its not a diesel? as far as i know, small diesel engines dont do over 6000rpm...?

And im talkinabout the first dash picture in this thread...

100000% sure

100000% sure

:D since u on one i won't argue :D whats the rev count on the vRS

anyway?

There's some pics on here, but the absolute max redline is 50, i would hope no one would take it that far though!

On the Furby vRS stripe red line 4500 - 5000 block from 5k on.
