Does anyone know if a spoiler helps with keeping less of the crap off the boot on an estate? Of course il have to wait until skoda bring one out again for the estate :(

Doubt it. Leave the boot open instead.....

Ironically, it still looks fookin awesome!

 thanks!

Must get around to pulling the bike carrier off the roof too at some point.. although I'm starting to think it looks pretty cool in a multi-functional/ outdoorsy-lifestyle sort of way?!

90 mile drive back home.

i suppose this is how mine will look when i get home.

did i get the wrong colour ???

Mine had a wash two weeks ago, so thats as a result of prob 1,000 miles worth of cruddy-road driving.

Digressing, do I see a stubby aerial retro fitted? If so I'd appreciate further details, where to buy, how much, reception etc. ;)

Its an OEM vw sharan stubby, from parts4euro.com

I had this on my mk5 gti and swapped it over to the skoda. Reception is unchanged - no worse. Its less drag (!) plus more importantly for me it fits underneath my roofbox.

HTH.

 thanks!

I think it adds to the effect Rob

My Aqua Blue hatch does not show the dirt nearly as much and the rear screen pretty well stays clean and dry until I stop.

My old Passat estate was a silver blue metallic as well and the rear door/numberplate did get plastered, but not as badly as your VRs.

Watch out for the wits writing "also available in white". I'd visit the local handwash ASAP.

I used to keep it on the Audi all the time. I liked the look of them! Come the Spring mine will stay on.

Any excuse for the pic!

It was heartbreaking :(

Unfortunately it was raping my wallet! 20mpg average and I was doing a lot of miles in it. Discs and pads for the front were £600 which needed doing, it needed 4x 19" tyres and a gearbox rebuild. It needed a lot of money spending on it, at least £2,000 and it had already had over £3,000 spent on it in one service 18 months ago or so. Soooooo quick and a gorgeous car. I'll have an RS4 one day. :'(

I wish I'd kept it and bought a diesel shed for the miles, but it's done now. Had a slightly sour note to it's passing too. I had a buyer for my boat so put down a deposit on an Audi RS6, 508hp with every option. I also had a buyer for my car. Unfortunately the buyer for my boat pulled out the day he was supposed to be transferring over the deposit (about a week after he agreed to the sale after the sea trial), and literally a few hours before I put a deposit down on the RS6. I ended up losing a £2k deposit on the RS6.

Can I ask do your roof bars have a T slot (upside down). Just wondering if my Audi bike holder will fit the Skoda bars or is it a new bike holder?

Is your car DSG or manual?

Looks cool but, you have really put me off having a white car as mine would look like yours all the time - not just in winter. ;)

Thanks for the info, checked the site and the Sharan aerial was $24.99 so about 15 quid! Ouch...........managed to find the same thing on the bay for £6.95 inc del.

My bars are the skoda accessory ones, so yes, they have the T slot design.

Car is a manual.

:)

Thats one worth cleaning
