Even on standard suspension the Whiteline rear bar will make a big difference and well worth buying.

Give us a shout if you need a price or anymore info.

I've got one on my vRS, however I never drove the car without one :p

PM'd you Damian.

Makes a big difference and well worth it. I've got mine on the middle setting at the moment which seems to keep everything on the ground at the back. Next stage would be lower springs or coilovers.

I have standard suspension and a white line RARB, I can highly recommend getting one, totally changed the way the VRS handles.

I want standard suspension as I am fed up with a lowered bumpy ride (I have lowered every car I have owned) and decided to leave the VRS standard, the RARB gets rid of a lot of the body roll and it also turns into corners better, also gets rid of some of the under-steer.

I have fitted RARB to other cars and know how well they work but on the VRS I was surpeised by how good it is, best £120 you can spend on the VRS :-)

p.s. I also have mine on the middle setting.

Just put one on mine - middle setting too. I am amazed at how much better the car feels - a vast improvement! Do it.

has anyone got it on last setting the one what would be the stiffest? If so whats it like compared to the middle setting?

I've got one but too haven't driven it without it so difficult to say.

Think this is one of my next purchases

IMO a RARB (either Whiteline or Jabba) should be at the top of everyone's next purchase list - IMO it is the best mod for the Fabia

Thanks for the replies. Think you have all convinced me to buy one.

Mrs Grr is buying me a Whiteline RARB for Xmas.

Won't be on the car until next year though. :'(

you should be out xmas day fitting it! it's the law!

Any preference of either?

Its just the one off jabba is like £80 more!

They both get top reviews so i`d be inclined to pocked the £80 tbh

as above both do the same job in theory surely emoticon-0148-yes.gif

The JabbaSport one isn't adjustable and it's a LOT stiffer than the Whiteline, even on the stiffest setting. If you look at the two side by side the JabbaSport bar looks massively thicker.

I have the Jabba one because I wanted the best. If you want the best, it costs a bit more.

The Whiteline is OK, it's just that you'll always be thinking - would the car have cornered flatter if I had the JabbaSport bar on? Would it be more neutral through the bends if I had the JabbaSport bar on? Would that girl at the club have come home with me if I had the JabbaSport bar on? Would I have got that promotion if I had the JabbaSport bar on?

As you lie there in the snow, thinking about eating your dog on a string covered only by a pile of unsold copies of the Big Issue, you'll look back at this moment and realise what a life-changing decision this was...

When you say "it's like £80" do you mean 8 x £10 or 4 x £20 or 2 x £40?

?

I would say... Fitting a RARB is unquestionably a very good thing. It pulls the somewhat ropey handling together, makes one's rear end feel reliable. :giggle:

If you've an estate or a combi or even a normal Fabia, there's more of a case for the Whiteline. More weight transfer on these cars and they'll roll more anyway due to the softer suspension setup. There's a fine line between driving god and backwards through a hedge when you play with stiff rear ARBs. The stiffer the better for speed and cornering and drive out of corners. However, for road use that's not appropriate. There are times when you HAVE to brake mid-corner.
