Hi, new to forum and this is my first post. Want to join the group buy can someone advise how to and what info i need to give. Have some christmas money burning a hole in my pocket

Sorry to put a dampener on things but i carried out some back to back trackday testing on the whiteline and jabba rarbs, established an average base lap with no arb, established a base lap with the whiteline and the same with the jabba, whiteline and no arb were identical, it felt no different to drive and improved lap times by zero, in conclusion its a coplete waste of money and the only effect is a placebo one, its all in the head, the jabba arb on the other hand immeidietly felt different and imroved lap times on a short 1 minute lap by about 2 seconds the car felt much better, so in conclusion the jabba arb is expensive for a reason

.............the jabba arb is expensive for a reason..................

Interesting post there Gary, and very informative too.

Unless you happen to be on the JabbaSport Sales Team, that is pretty conclusive.

It is also backed up by the saying -- "Nobody ever regretted buying the best......"

No group buy for me !

In the 15 years i've been messing with cars i have wasted lots of cash on things which don't work, wherever possible i like to prevent others from doing the same, i am currently just starting my 2nd fabia project and it will certainly be fitted with the jabba arb.

I am not affiliated with jabba either

I have the whiteline along with the seat strut brace fitted at the same time and the pair together certainly make a difference in handling not massive but you can still feel a difference.

Again the lap times showed no difference at all, tho the rest of my car was far from standard, and the test conditions were by no means scientific, one thing i will say is i am capable of very consistent lap times, rest of the handling spec was

forge front strut brace

custom rear strut brace

kw coilovers

312mm brakes

peloquin atb diff

cupra bushes

whiteline/jabba arb

now on a standard car the whiteline bar may make a difference, but on my car it made none at all

I have a standard VRS (suspension wise) except for the whiteline ARB, I did not fit the ARB so that I could go 2 seconds quicker around a circuit it was fitted to help get rid of some of the body roll and under steer that the car suffers from without ruining the ride quality by lowering the car on harder springs/shocks.

With this in mind I would say the whiteline ARB has been a total success for minimal cost, I don't care if the car is a second or two quicker around a set of bends I was interested in how the car feels to drive.

Its horse's for course's but your post has probably put people off a very worthwhile cheap modification that will vastly improve how there VRS drives, your criteria for judging the ARB is purely 'seconds' saved on a fast lap on a racing circuit, mine is on how the car feels to drive (driving pleasure) on normal roads irrespective on how 'fast' it goes around a corner.

Everyone's opinion is important so I hope this will balance things up a bit.
