Why are DSG vRS estates such a rare commodity?

Just had a quick browse on the Skoda used car site, and there is currently only one DSG vRS estate available in the system, and I'm guessing the reason that hasn't yet gone is because it's priced at £24,995 :o

Makes me feel quite humble to own such a rare beast :D

Still would not be tempted when you can get a Petrol VRS Estate or 1,8 TSI Estate, with DSG, for less than £20K, both which are quicker than the VRS diesel. How many miles would it take to get back the £4K difference whilst you also put up with the 8% or 16% slower acceleration of the Deisel VRS over the 1,8 TSI or 2.0 TSI? Even VAG want to persuade buyers to go for TSIs over TDIs at the moment it appears. Market forces.

If you mean used ones I guess people spec them because they want to keep them - prob hard to get money back on resale and the car is a beauty anyway so there is little incentive to sell.
