Continues to impress and quite right I say!!

I'm really looking forward to getting my Skoda, this is a massive change in direction for me as I've alway driven sporty BMW models and other VW's

The more I read about the reviews the more I'm convinced I've made the correct choice, we don't have a family yet. Just a large dog on the way so I need the estate.

All of my work colleagues are also quite eager to see it, ever since the 5th gear reviews everyone seems to now be taking an interest.

I'm finally free of my badge snobbery

Speaking of which...

You gotta understand, Australians are accustomed to Holden's Commodore and Ford's Falcon winning these awards, because the 'American' car companies have the populous brainwashed that you gotta have a big, 6-cylinder, 20mpg RWD barge to be a real Aussie. There have been 2 awards so far that have categories, and the best family cars have been named as the Superb in one, and the Nissan Maxima in the other. In one of the awards, there were no Aussie cars in the finalists!

Now, if only the price of the Superb would drop, so I can buy one!

PS the Car of The Year was the ... VW Polo!
