Duplicate Phone Entries in Columbus

Featured Replies

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I've not found any answers yet.

Having recently changed my work phone, somehow all my phone numbers have been duplicated .

Does anyone know of a way of deleting all numbers and starting afresh?

Thanks in advance

OOPS - Sorry I've posted this in the wrong section - should be in ICE,Security & Insurance

Going to the phone section on the MFD and removing the relevant user(s) should do it. :)

You may only need to go into the phone settings on maxidot and set it so that the address book is either sim or phone memory. By default it uses both, and this can mean that you end up with duplicate entries if your phone has both sorts of contacts. Once selected, redownload the address book (setup > phone) on the columbus.

Thanks very much for the advice, will try it as soon as I get my car back from the repairers. ( Some dopey old biddy pulled straight out in front of me causing quite a bit of damage. )

- At least she admitted liability, so her insurance company is getting my car repaired. Downside is- they've given me a Mondeo to drive. It's not a patch on the Superb can't wait to get my own car back.
