Wet Footwell in Yeti

Featured Replies

A happy new year everyone.

I remember reading other people have experienced this fault - where the footwell carpet is soaking wet all the time.

I wonder if some kind soul can tell me if this is a recorded 'recognised' fault with the yeti? Perhaps a case number or something?

Best wishes.

I also recall the thread. It turned out to be a kinked aircon pipe if I remember correctly

Wasn't the sunroof Tom, because mine never leaked  (and it won't start either emoticon-0136-giggle.gif)

Hi,

I have had a similar problem with an Octavia in the past. The problem turned out to be a loose pipe running from the washer bottle under the floor mats to the rear window wiper. Every time I used the rear wiper I was pumping washer fluid into the rear foot well. Took the garage 3 attempts to find it. Not sure if this is relevant to a Yeti it might be an idea to check it out.
