What are the best all round tyres for the VRS? Especially for the back end.....

I'm going to be looking at the camskill website today to find some decent ones. I hear people here rate Toyos????

Hi

Hi have just sorted some Uniroyal rainsports for £77 each all fitted etc, and your sizes if running standard wheels are 205 45 16, and need to be "W" rated for the VRS

IS that fitted, balanced, etc included ?

The tyre that get's the most stars on here is the Rainsport..

Shortly followed by the Toyo's.

I've had the Toyo's.. I'd say I drive like Joe Bloggs most the time and I still got through them within 7k. REALLY sticky but it's because they're made of cheese.

That said.... If your planning them for the back you'll be fine with the Toyo's.. they'll easily last 15-20k on the back.

I've not used the Rainsports cuz I can never find any, or at least non at a good price when I've needed rubber.

I moved my rear Toyo's to the front and put Khumo 31's on the back... Don't seem any worse than the Toyo's, on the back anyway... The Khumo's tend to be a little cheaper than the Toyo's... Didn't notice them sliding in the snow and Ice.

Hi mate...nope...

I'll get them fitted by my brother in law who is a mechanic for free...

i rate the T1-R's for the price, i get mine from camskill! Cheap delivery and a good performance tyre!

Is it 205/45/16 for OEM Fabia vRS wheels?

I paid £310 for 4 fitted from my local tyre place. Phoned up asking their best price, then quoted them internet prices, and he beat it!

Tyres on the rear if left there and not swapped to the front, will give really good high mileage return.

I changed my first set of rear Continental Contact 2 at 3mm tread depth and started to perish at 40,000 miles.

On the other hand the fronts were on the third set, being renewed every 15,000 miles.

With winter and summer tyres, budget, mid and top of the range, it all comes down to preference and how deep your pockets are. LOL
