We've been planning a Yeti adverture (lower case adventure thus 2WD Yeti's will be safe as there will be no bundu bashing as per an Adventure!) and have more or less decided on a date. So please vote above for either Sat 19th of Feb or the Sunday. (EDIT: I'm not sure about Saturday food at the pub: so foodwise Sunday might be better as I know there is a Sunday roast!)

Also would people like to meet at Allams before or meet at the pub? Personally I'd prefer the pub as even though Allams is fairly close to the M25 it is still a bit of a trek...

The pub is noted in the first post of the original thread: The Sportsman in Mogador. Lets see about numbers first before booking. I think we should just be able to turn up and eat to be honest.

The trip from Allams is fine, it is just that I will be coming from the M25 basically past Gandalf ( ) to go to Allams and then have to go all the way back to have my Lord of the Rings broth...

Saturday is awkward for me, but I might manage to escape from Swmbo for sunday lunch time, but wouldn't be there until about 1.30pm earliest.

How long is the south downs, and don't you really mean the north downs? Or am I really bad at geography?
