Hello everybody. I'm new to Skoda, and very much looking forward to the impending arrival of my automatic Roomster this month.

Currently drive a Suzuki SX4. MPG disastrous (rarely over 30mpg). Hatchback space even more disastrous.

Big problem, as I am an assistance dogs puppy walker. The extremely limited boot space in the Suzuki hatchback can only cope with one puppy over 4 months old. Leaves no room for anything else in life. Especially problematic as I also regularly provide respite care for a human with a wheelchair and other mobility equipment. So I'm really hoping that the Skoda Roomster will solve my conflicting transport problems!

Looking at the forum topics, it appears there are many happy Roomster owners out there, so I am really looking forward to joining you.

2008 Octy 1.9Tdi PD 1Z5 BXE oil leak. I've removed the plastic pan, cleaned everything up and inspected for wet areas. The leak doesn't appear to come from the rear or bottom of the engine, or from the left hand side of the engine (fuel filter side). The tandem pump at the top doesn't appear to be wet. The leak appears to be higher up the engine and just below the oil filter housing where it does seem quite wet. The oil filter housing isn't leaking (from the top, at least). I know how diff

Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a

Hi there! I recently installed on my car an OEM Electric tow bar on my 1.5, but pressing the button inside the trunk, nothing comes out from under the boot. According to Skoda workshop, problem was the control unit: it was the model specific for electric cars with part number Skoda 5H2907383B; in fact looking on VAG the right code for my car is the 5H2907383BLc. I found a pre-owned one over eBay and when mechanic connected it and turned car on, it enlightened itself for awhile. Is it matter o

Hi! My media player keeps getting stuck in a bootloop. Before it started every other time i started the car but this last year its started only once. I was suggested to change the harddrive cause they though it was corrupt so i bought a new one but i dont have any software and cant find any place to buy the base software to install and not just updates. Any tips for what to do or if any has the software available.

Hello, can anyone help! I have a kamiq and at 55,000 my car suddenly failed, teva burning smell and no power. Was told it needed a clutch replacement and brakes replacement. £2,500. I questioned this as I’ve been driving for 34 years and never burnt out a clutch. I was forced to pay. I had raised questions about the car having a fault. Was told it was driver error. Fast forward 8 weeks and my clutch failed again - the same burning smell. Garage are unbelievably wanting £1,500 to replace again!!
