Wow loads of pics of my MKII vRS :o

It looks like very little body roll on the pictures but it felt a lot worse driving in the car emoticon-0106-crying.gif

Should have pushed harder! :p

Is it just me or do the estates hold up really well in the corners? Very little roll on pics or vids

Excellent day out once again, thanks Jason for getting everything organised

Caught rather a lot of sun too!

howd your 312's hold up, and you just running eibachs on standard dampers, seemed to handle quite well, good vid too just half way through now lol

Brakes hold up fine, running standard pads and fluid (although the fluid needs changing now), you are correct Eibach's and standard dampers with an arb. Oh and no heatsoak to speak of yesterday was running clean as a whistle (hopefully the new map won't ruin this), or cooling issues :p

you seemed to catch the two mk1 octys quite easy, the black mk1 octy was abit quicker in a straight line but still not much, you were cathing it in the corners, i wont meantion the new mk2 the ibiza and the red fab vrs that looked like they werent moving lol, i understand people not wanting to go flat out B) you done any track work before? you were hitting the apexs alot and followed a good racing line most of the time?

Sure wish I could have been as committed. I was just concentrating on fighting the steering wheel :D

I usually do the two Castle Combe sessions with Briskoda and maybe 2-3 open pitlane days a year I guess. Used to do track days in my old mini too.

You did a good job there fella. Just remember on the exits to use the width of the track, this enables you to get your foot down quicker.

Thanks. Will try again in September.

Simon, that was me in the mk1 ocy, good session!! Yrs defo surprised me on it's cornering speeds.

Reckon you could send me a copy of the vid??

The duel between Furry & Simon was one of the highlights of the day for me.

Every lap was like, 'Simon's catching him on quarry!' followed by, 'Furry's pulling slightly away on the straight out of quarry' - really entertaining stuff, and people on the sides were impressed at the fabia keeping with the octy!

Haha no problem providing a bit of entertainment, that's what its all about for me, probably my favourite 10 minute (:dull:) session!

Furry - do you have dropbox? the video is in 720p and it's 734mb. I used dropbox the other day for a 1.5g film on Le Mans and it was a rather fast transfer

hi hope u like my w.r.c car done a lot of work on her had for 3 years will be coming to the next one . thank u all :D

I went to see the professional photographers in the bar but what an unorganised bunch! I've been to weddings were there is a card on each table with the website already listed for where you can get your pictures and order later. Not this lot. You could only get it there and then and "maybe if you email us" and you had to trawl through tons of contact sheets and/or stare at a laptop screen which had a queue of people waiting. Pathic to be honest. And THIS pic above is all I really wanted! Thanks Big Gray!

not our session but one of my other sessions

just down loading dropbox now
