Servicing

Featured Replies

My wife's Roomster is booked in for it's third service this Friday with a Franchised dealer (DM Keith) - when I aksed the service chap how much he replied "Around £173". This seems a little OTT do you think?

Your thoughts please!

Are you still in warranty? I've only just got mine, and have gone for the 2 year service contract, as soon as that is over, will be going to a VAG specialist. there are plenty around, as you have been to DM Keith, take it you are in the West Yorkshire area, Google search for VAG, there are a number of specialist around,

No warranty left - 07 plate. It also needs some work doing to the steering rack or similar as my wife hit the kerb on the last snowfall after skidding on snow and ice - there seems to be a lot of play in the rack. Thanks for the suggestion.

Try another dealer if you wish to keep a full book of Skoda stamps. They are all franchises and charge different labour rates and parts prices, phoning around can save a small fortune.
