PM Brimma

Why-they're not lights??? :p

Anyway, I doubt he could wait 'til the auction ended :D

8.5 ET32 will not fit without some major pulling of the arches......

But they look definately GOOOOOOD emoticon-0148-yes.gif

buy it now at 395 is pretty cheap BUT the offset isn't right for an octavia unfortunately..

If I'm honest, i'm not keen, now BBS CH's on the other hand....................

I think you could call me a BBS fanemoticon-0136-giggle.gif

You're all wrong :p

IF I ever get another set of wheels, and that's highly unlikely, they will be either VMR710s, Neuspeed RSe14s (I'm sure Awesome would do me a great deal to see them on my car), or Compomotive CXTs, possibly in gold B)

The best part of your reply, Bryan, is "highly unlikely" emoticon-0140-rofl.gifemoticon-0140-rofl.gifemoticon-0140-rofl.gif

I can't think where you're coming from with that comment Mike :'(

I've had the car over two years now, which is almost a record............what have I got to do to convince people?

You dont have to convince people Bryan, i love the way you love your car and alter it the way YOU like it.

And changing the design of the wheels so once in a while is part of it. emoticon-0144-nod.gif

But he changes his wheels more offer than his Y fronts...........................

................................so Mrs Brimma tells me! :giggle:

They would look awesome!

I have got the in 17inch to go on the fabia come the nicer weather, as the dishs are being mirror polished and the centres are bronze crackle and un-lacquered!

They are hipsters actually Lee, and don't forget there is back to front and inside out, so you can get a good 4 wears out of one pair - no point causing extra washing :dull:

This may not be possible in your case, bearing in mind the look on Mrs vRS_Pagey's face when she observed one of your skidmarks just prior to the weekly wash :o

DEFO :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: I keep beggin the wife to let me have these !

I had a quick look on the velocity site - seems the only 19" 710 is a 45mm offset at 8.5" wide... which may be too much for the arch..

:S

What, even though they don't fit?

:p

BTW its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission in my experience.

Or strategy #2 is to very openly research a new car, something really NOT sensible, 911 turbo etc. Then after a few weeks reluctantly agree that its probably not going to happen but you get your "more sensible" option as a new set of rims or whatever you actually wanted in the first place..

I once managed to convince a g/f that it made sense to buy a set of mag wheels for my lotus "so we could keep the original wheels as spares incase I broke one of the mags". Still can't believe that one got though but hey, if it works.. :D

They also come in 18s, and 225s wouldn't be too big a stretch B)

8.5 ET 48 (for example original audi wheels) in 19 fit and are even approved in Germany. Those 3mm wont do too much. Maybe some small changes to the rear arches, but no big ones.emoticon-0144-nod.gif
