8.5 ET32 will not fit without some major pulling of the arches......

I had a quick look on the velocity site - seems the only 19" 710 is a 45mm offset at 8.5" wide... which may be too much for the arch..

Or strategy #2 is to very openly research a new car, something really NOT sensible, 911 turbo etc. Then after a few weeks reluctantly agree that its probably not going to happen but you get your "more sensible" option as a new set of rims or whatever you actually wanted in the first place..

They also come in 18s, and 225s wouldn't be too big a stretch

8.5 ET 48 (for example original audi wheels) in 19 fit and are even approved in Germany. Those 3mm wont do too much. Maybe some small changes to the rear arches, but no big ones.
