Canbus - doe it report error on front Fogs?

Featured Replies

Hey there!

Is the Canbus Error code thingy active on the front fog lights on the Fabia Vrs? Going through the motions of upgrading the lights up front, and really fancy some LED fogs (I know, I know :giggle: ) - Will I need a load resistor like I would for main headlights?

Don't really wanna be crawling under the car to figure this out the hard way - I hear it can be a bit of a dog of a job, so only wanna do it once!

Wondering if anyone knew off hand?

Cheers

I'm pretty sure that the Fabia 1 doesn't have canbus on any of the lights, so you should be fine B)

I had a headlight bulb 'pop' before, and that definately put a light on the dash.. Mine's one of the very last Fabias, if that makes any difference at all?

Stuff it - Ordered!

I guess the warning light is just that - a warning light..

Thanks for your help anyway

Hmm, a Fabia 1 should be a Fabia 1. Mine certainly didn't put a warning up when I had a bulb out, and it doesn't error with my non-canbus LED sidelights.

No, fogs don't give warning lights. Brakelughts do, probably headlights too, but the rest are fine

-When they're in, I most ceratinly will post a pic! Ordered some spanking PIAA & phillips bulbs for the headlights. This time next month, ALL the front light bulbs will have been replaced

I'm not a big fan of these bulb replacement HID's.. The reflectors don't seem to reflect the light in the right places, and I seem to notice a lot of dazzle from them. But that is just me!

i seriously get dazzled by oem xenons more. lol
