Im 21 and all my friends joke about it being a old mans car. And as long as kids in 1.0 saxo's say 'its a skoda ill beat that' its not a chav car.

I don't think there are any specific chav cars, as said its all down to the drivers choice.

There are lots of modders that like to personalise their cars and now the fabia is getting older there is more choice of customization options (not all of them good admittedly)

when I got my fabia my mum said its the sort of car she would own. Now that is a statement that should scare off some chavvies lol

Iv not seen any ott kitted up lexus light fabias. Not that I give two ****s about anyone else driving one

I've seen a couple of Furbys around my area which are bordering on chav. Mine included purely for the front grille

Both had blinding blue HID kits, one had a ridiculously loud exhaust. Looked like a Blue Flame but was stupid loud, to the point where it just sounded like an ill car to me. Mufflerectomy?! It made a racket even at low revs / idle. Acceleration made a loud owl noise. My stock turbo (that went bang) used to make the same noise but much, much quieter. My new turbo doesn't at all...

Haven't seen one as bad as some Corsa / Saxo / Fiestas with lexus lights, body kits and ridiculous spoilers yet though.

Won't be getting rid of mine either way.

Well I had this issue with the Peugeot 306. Lovely Astor Gray GTi6. Yes that marque is now a chavs car but in no way was mine chavvy. I felt I was driving a genuine hot hatch. As for the Fabia.. I hope its not chavvy. I love the remap and it really feels fast on the road and I have timed it on various sections of road here in the border country and it seems as good as the 306s ever were - even my dear Rallye - which won a Autocar shoot out. On the looks front it will never be a classic like those were but hey we have to move on don't we?

These ford focus tdci's have very good in gear grunt indeed.

i was shocked when my mum of all people out accelerated me in her 1.8tdci focus against my mk3 MR2 right through from 20-70mph.
