Hey guys, A while my rear passenger wheel heating up on me and I suspected the calliper was stuck on. I got a mate of mine too look at it with me and on inspection we discovered that the handbrake mechanism attached to the calliper was not returning fully. It only took a gentle push and it clicked back fully. Now that I am amare of this issue I have watched it carefully and have noticed that every few weeks my hand brake feels very light when liftting it for the first inch or two. And sure enough when I check the cause of this is the handbrake mechanism has not fully returned. I only have to lie down at the wheel and reach in and click it off now that I know where it is.

It is only not returning a small bit and very little force is needed to get it to fully return. I cannot notice any sort of resistance when on slight hill and rolling so it must not be holding on much at all.

Anyways I hope I have explained the issue so it makes sense!!! I basically just wanna get it sorted so am wondering what everyones thoughts are??? Can I remove the mechanism and clean and grease it? Could it be a handbrake cable problem??
