Try the comparsion websites (moneysupermarket and confused), then try AVIVA and Direct Line - they're not on the comparison sites and are doing 12 months for the price of 10.

Very difficult to tell - insurance is so Postcode dependent.

I'm 53 paying £276 with Flux Direct - I let it autorenew in December since I couldn't find anything as cheap elsewhere - though it had gone up from £222 (but that included switching from 2004vRS to 2007vRS SE)

DirectLine offers aren't really worth anything. It's either '1 a week free', 10 for 12 months, no interest on installments (useful, but still usually the same discount) and so on. All the offers which are on constantly seem to add up to roughly the same amount anyway.

I also hate DirectLine!

Swiftcover are quite good!

35, 3 points, and got cover for £400 monthly fee, but could have been £330 for a one off payment.

For the last few years I've been with eSure. This year they wanted £501. :o

I normally use confused, but this year I tried go-compare, I got the price down to £350 with Hastings Direct. £60 less than last year.

There are some good tips on this website. MSE - Cheap Car Insurance

Hi

Unfortunately rates have just increased across the board in general, so it is effecting us all! If you would like for me to arrange a call back, please feel free to pm me your details.

Dan.

Its worse in NI and I don't know why. I'm 24, driving 3 years and am paying over £900 for my vRS.
