you ought to have seen the dismay of ibiza owners, when the fabia wiper hit the rear spoiler on the ibiza,some have fitted them after shortening them .

it is mainly a style thing.

when i had my ibiza i spent hours re routing my rear washer and fitting a saxo smooth arm wiper to it,just because it looked neat and sat in the black part of the rear window,so was virtually invisible
