I am sure I have seen one or two open door lights in white from standard. They are mostly red though. TBH I don't see what difference it makes, it is a light ordinarily in the car and therefore not covered by construction and use regulations - just like your dome light - which you could legally put a blue bulb in etc. If its illegal it would be illegal to get out of your car holding a torch showing a white light :yes:

Out of interest where are the lights placed in the footwells? They evenly light them very well.

Its a led strip with about 9 LEDs on which is self adhesive stuck across the plastics and similiar in other side
