Weird issue with my superb this morning

Featured Replies

Got in car as usual, started no problem as it always does and then every warning light came on, followed by the maxidot announcing all kinds of faults.

Power steering was dead as well, so as the car was perfectly ok last night I did what everyone in IT would suggest I turned it off and on again.

Result, all lights went off except for TPM and ESP, everything worked and as soon as I drove off the ESP and TPM lights went out.

My car is at the moment only being used for very short runs, currently doing around 2 miles per day sometimes it does 3 miles, so I guess like the last time I had a problem its power related.

sounds similar to the problem i had which resulted in a new ecu and central control unit....all fixed after 3 breakdowns over 4 week period. suggest you ask yr stealer dealer to investigate.

Could it be something as simple as a low battery? I know it sounds silly but these days with all the fancy electronics in cars, even if there is enough power to start the car ther may not be enough left to run the other systems properly for a short while.

All Superb owners on the forum are awaiting your result with baited breath!!

Good luck. G.K.

Sounds like battery drain.

Short runs with headlights on heater on etc.

Hope so.

Well, its been Ok since. I am for now going with the battery being low, as I had a non start due to low battery in November last year. I guess the only only solution is to get out more at the weekend and put some miles on the superb.
