Skoda "NO VAT" Deal

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

I currently own an Ibiza SC but seeing the adverts for the Skoda has made me want one but can someone help me out with the figures. I've looked on the main Skoda website and they are advertising "NO VAT" deal on the new VRS, can someone confirm this means if I ordered a VRS for £16,500.00 I can take off 20% making it £13,200.00 or is it just the 2.5% increase off?

Sorry if this seems a bit silly I'm just trying to see if I can actually afford one or if it will be a pipe dream for a little longer! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes it's the full 20% off however I think that doesn't include delivery and tax ( ie the OTR part of the invoice ) and so works out around £13,600, which is still a bargain ( so much so I traded my Clio 200 CUP in for one ! )

Pedantic I know, but to get the ex-VAT price of anything you don't take 20% off the total as you're already at 120%. Does that make sense?

£120 inc VAT less 20% is £96, but you obviously need to arrive at £100 for the ex VAT value.

I'd try a website like "drive the deal" to set a benchmark as to the best price you could get your new car for.

Edit: Or in the example above would become £13,750.

I think the offer only applies to poof power models and diesels are excluded.

petrol and diesel on the fabia and roomster's and only petrol on the octavia and superb. Also inculdes the factory fit options unlike SEAT which does not include the options.

also Skoda are offering 25% off the 1.6 SE petrol which at just under 11k its alot of car for the money

It states on the website that the VRS is included :)

For anyone that has bought one recently can you please advise what APR rate you got? Is it a fixed rate or dependent on deposit?
