Leaking water into drivers side rear footwell

Featured Replies

We have had since new a 56 plate 1.2 Skoda Fabia. It's a secon car and not used much.

We noticed a strange smell for the last couple of months.

Today we found that the footwell in the rear mdrivers side of the car is soaking wet!!!

Can anyone advise on the problem and solution??

Thanks

Hi and welcome aboard.

I had a similar problem in my Fabia VRS, I believe it was due to the drain holes in the bottom of the rear offside door not draining.

The garage were aware that this was an issue with the Fabia and modified them under warranty.

Dave

PS. I had the carpets replaced under warranty as well.

There is a thread in the Fabia 1 section which details how to fix the problem, quite a simple fix but a common problem on the Fabia.
