Brimma, you've made a good start, but you still have a way to go to get the authentic 70's look B)

Just what you need.

But the interior is going to be more difficult!

BTW ebay should be a good place to search for your accompanying bell bottom, high waisted flares and cheesecloth shirt that you'll be needing (assuming you don't have them in your loft) :giggle:

No way - I've got a can of gold paint from Halfords - I'll just spray the Limited Edition leather seats, should look OK

Did you see the Belgian black Octavia estate on gold rotiform split blqs at UD today?

Saw it on the UD pics thread - wasn't keen :S

Rather than sit on the fence, an opinon...

The wheels are the nuts, loving them, not convinced its the right car for them. They would look seriously good on my project with a couple of body colour adjustments

What next for it Bry? Scoobydoo badges? LOL

I like it, but only because of the lotus connection in the old grey matter.

Still prefer black on anything, especially black light weight wheels with sticky rubber.. umma

There are a couple of rotiform pics on this thread:

Photoshop only however not real. I'm not a fan TBH, although the white octy with gunmetal vmr's looks spot on.

Awesome, not many cars pull off gold wheels but this sure does  I would also do the calipers gold....

Great comment,thanks :)

Gold calipers would be lost behind the wheels though, so they'll be staying as they are at the moment

The red calipers against the gold is the only issue for me I think. Wonder if they'll take carbon wrap? ;)

Wouldn't paint them gold either, as you say. Only colour I'd paint them would be black I reckon.

Green calipers would look great I reckon.
