The monte carlo does look better than the vrs IMO.

I wonder if the arch extentions just clip on like the sp arches on the peugeots ???

that are clipped at either end, im guessing they are bonded to the wings same as the side skirts.

Overall it look great. Not happy though with the paint solution around the blinker. Maybe they should have used a projector and paint that chrome part in black like the rest of the headlight.

My local dealer has just got a red one in, so I popped in and had a look. Having seen it in the metal, I would buy one, it looks very good. I'm not a fan of black wheels, but I could live with them, it wouldn't be a reason not to buy the car.

Should be good fun on a twisty road, like my Swift Sport was.

They would have to make new tooling for flared arches, that costs a lot.

Shame, Skoda could have made all the fabia's archs more pronounced but like everything all comes down to money and making a decent profit.

I queried with Skoda Customer Care whether the "black pack" was now an option on the vRS and received the following reply

I am happy to confirm that the Fabia vRS will soon be able to have elemants from the Monte Carlo specified as optional extras;

these will include the Black Grille and the Smoked Headlights.

Unfortunately, I cannot confirm a date when these will be available. I would like to invite you to contact your local retailer

next month for an update.

Grille and lights can be bought from dealers. When my car arrives they'll be swapping them over and giving me the originals back.
