Problem with Door lock

Featured Replies

Guys,

Went out to the car yesterday evening, unlocked it and the alarm went off when I opened the door. I thought that was strange and had to disable it with the imobiliser thingy on the keyring. I relocked the car and checked all the door locks and discovered that the passenger door was still unlocked and the alarm did not re-arm.

Mechanically, the door is fin as I can unlock and lock it from the inside. I also tried locking the doors with the passenger door locked, and the alarm still didn't arm.

Any suggestions? (Apart from taking it to the friendly local Skoda dealer, which I will do tomorrow).

Ok update time...

I disconnected the Alarm, and still no joy. I then disconnected the battery for about 10-15 minutes and still not working.

If only I had a VAGCOM or a 5051 to play with...

I had a problem before with my passangers side door lock, like yours it wouldn't lock. I'll have a look around my diary :) and see was anything done to it.
