Hi everyone, im a new user of this site and currently own a 54 plate fabia vrs. I've had the car for about six weeks now and am very impressed by the car. The reason for buying the vrs was the rising costs of owning a subaru impreza turbo. Enough was enough so i decided to save myself a few quid and buy a diesel, although at the same time i wanted something with a bit of poke. The vrs seemed the obvious choice.

Hope you enjoy your new motor! I bet you'll wonder why you spent all that cash on petrol and servicing on that Scooby...You'll probably be able to buy a second Furby with the change left over after a year with the new car!

Hi guys, I have thought of maybe an ecu upgrade but i am not sure how this would affect the warranty. Any ideas? Also i am enjoying the fuel economy, Would an upgrade change this much? I have heard that amd are the boys to speak to and luckily i live about 10 miles from bicester which could be quite handy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The fuel economy should be about the same (unless you boot it) though you might be manybe 1-2mpg down on a normal run.
