A few from a local car show this afternoon.

 

The star of the show for me was the Citroen SM - must have looked like a spaceship in the early 70s!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Always nice to see a few 'humdrum' vehicles amongst the classics, although the 2013 fabia I spotted looked a bit out of place (and didn't merit a photograph!)

I’d like to photoshop out the two three people closest to the camera as I reckon it would make for a much cleaner picture, but never used it before. Might have a bash anyway. 

Mexican stand-off between me and one of the locals.  I'd just walked in my back gate and didn't want to scare it, so moved really slowly:

 

 

We'd just finished picking cherries (5.5lb off a tree barely 12' tall 😎) and there were quite a few on the lawn (well my excuse for a lawn).  Sally had just topped up the bird seed and our matey Pigeon I think was wanting me out of the way with the threat of 'You don' letta me atta da cherries, I gonna empty dis feeder RIGHT NOW!'

Been messing about with some intentional camera movement recently, to try get get a more abstract arty look with more movement in the shots. Very hit and miss and subjective as to what’s good and not so good. Got this one today, which imo is the best of the bunch snapped.

Lots of geese at the top of Shinewater lake this afternoon:

 

 

 

And I got out to one of my favourite places - looking across to Herstmonceux Observatory in the distance:

 

 

This is from New Bridge Road, near Rickney.  Lovely road to cycle across the Pevensey marshes, just need to be conscious as to how close the waterways are to the tarmac.  I've come a cropper before moving off onto a verge to let a car past, only to find it wasn't a verge, just nicely trimmed bullrushes, in water 🙄
