@vectra1, I do love robins.

I have a frequent visitor to my back garden too :)

Robins are cool little birds.
Always an inquisitive look on them :)

I’ll have to give the wildlife photography a bit of a go.

A couple more of recent ones. The pond scene is one of my recent favourites, taken at Matfield, looks so peaceful, despite a main road cutting through the shot.

That shot with the mini is nice, but would have been much cooler with the car in focus and the rest not.
Loving the wildlife photography, Never thought I would.
Can't wait to feel a bit better to get out and about again.

Beautiful Audi Rob.
Great results on full manual as well.
Something I am going to have to try once I get more into it.
Still stuck on Aperture Priority.

I put it off for years but once you go manual you start to get a feel for what you need to do pretty quickly.

I'm still doing several test shots to get the settings how I want but I'm finding once I get it right it gives me much better and more consistent results.

And I need less processing in Lightroom afterwards.

I'm gradually starting to get quicker at picking the right settings!

Thanks Vectra, the original intention was to grab some shots of the daffodils, and then bokeh the rest to set them in context... Shot was set up on a tripod, then the mini came along. Probably would have been better to close the aperture but no time to do anything. All a learning curve. lol

Ah,
So the shot was set up and the Mini just appeared into it?
Very cool
it is a nice shot when you look at it that way .
